Nano car has a gasoline engine with two cylinders. It will be used in a car with a single balancer shaft. Tata Motors had filed several patents related to innovations in the design of the car Nano, with powertrain design alone having 34 patents. According to Tata, the cheapest car in the world-Nano complies with Bharat Stage-III emission standards Euro-IV.
